Year 7 Confirmation for the children of the St. Bride’s Parish took place on Tuesday the 3rd of March at 4.00pm.
It was a wonderful parish event.
Bishop Farquhar confirmed the boys and girls.
The music was wonderful and the Year 7 pupils were helped by the Year 6 choir who were accompanied by Mrs Toal and Mrs White.
Mrs White played some beautiful solos on the harp which gave the Year 6 & 7 pupils a breather from singing.
Afterwards the pupils all went to the parish hall where they got their pictures taken with the Bishop.
The PTA provided wonderful party bags-Yum!
Fr. O’Donnell visited the classes the next day to tell them how proud he was of them all.
The Year 7 pupils would like to say a big thank you to all the Year 7 teachers, Mrs Kennedy, Miss Mc Givern, Mr Doran and Mrs Gray and to Mrs Turner.
We would also like to thank our friends from the Ashleigh group and Harberton and finally a very special thanks to Mrs Toal for all her hard work with regards to the music.
