All of the Year 7 pupils went over to the Parish hall for a presentation on Birds of Prey by John Carmichael. John has been bringing his birds to the school for many years now and as always, his presentation was amazing!!
We got to see a Common Buzzard, a Kestrel, a Barn Owl, a Peregrine Falcon an Eagle Owl and a Hawk. John is extremely knowledgeable and gave us so much information on all the birds. Seeing the birds up close was so cool and watching them soar over us was brilliant!. Mr Doran got to hold the Eagle Owl. He said, "the talons on the Eagle Owl were as big as an adult's fist!"
