On Thursday the 10th of November Year 2 had their wonderful Prayer Service.It was lovely to see such a great turn out in the hall. Fr. O'Donnell led the children in prayer.The children sang some beautiful new songs such as the Candle Song, I Wonder, I am Special so are you and Caring for God's World. The children also said this lovely prayer together.
God is with me
If I hide under a tree, God is with me
If I swim in the deep blue sea, God is with me
If I am stung by an angry bee, God is with me
If I fall and scrape my knee, God is with me
If I have chips for my tea, God is with me
Anywhere at all you see , God is with me
It was a very special occasion for all. A big thank you to our Year 2 teachers and classroom assistants, to Fr. O'Donnell and Mrs Toal for accompanying the pupils and to everyone who came to join the prayer service.
