Primary One Mrs McNamee ‘Stretching and Squeezing'

Now that we have learnt so many sounds in Primary 1 we are able to make real words. One way we do this is to use our Phonix Cubes and picture cards. We simply pick a picture and then use our sounds to say the word slowly so we can hear all the sounds. We then build the word using the cubes.

We can sometimes help each other with the sounds and find the cubes together.
