In January we were learning about Water and what we use it for. We were also discussing its different properties and we have carried out floating and sinking experiments.
One week we were asked to make our own boat using recycled materials and bring them into school. In class we all took it in turns to check if our boat floated or sank. We noticed that the boats made of plastic floated the best.
