P5 Kennedy Fire Service Visit

On Monday 6^th November, P5 were treated to a wonderful surprise. The firemen from our local fire station came to school to talk to us, all about the dangers of fire. Fireman Pete led the session and he was really fun and easy to listen to. We learnt lots of new and interesting facts. We were so good, we all became members of Pete’s fire safety team. At the end, Pete decided to have some fun with the teachers. He made them dress up in a fire fighter’s uniform. They had to race each other. Poor Mrs Kennedy lost in the end. Miss Mc Hugh was the winner! It was a funny end to a great morning. Thank-you to Pete and his team!
