P1 Mrs McNamee Rhyming Houses

Today the children at the Starfish table were sorting rhyming pictures. They had to work in pairs and sort pictures into the correct ‘houses’.

Ming Qi and Aphia were sorting pictures that rhymed with STOP and SNAKE. Damian and Kathleen were sorting SOCK and BUG rhyming words. Lara and Sophie had RING and TREE pictures to sort and Erin and Hugh were sorting pictures that rhymed with HAT and BED.

All of the children were great at their sorting and next time we do this we are going to swop the ‘houses’ around so we get to sort lots of rhyming houses!!
