Year 6 Mc Auley :The Day the Chairs Quit

14th Feb 2020

Primary Six have recently been looking at persuasive texts within their Literacy work. Today, Mr McAuley’s class got quite a shock when they saw that their chairs had quit and refused to let the children sit on them. Their chairs wrote them letters explaining that they had had enough of being dragged about, being left untucked and some of the heinous smelling crimes that the children commit on the chairs. The children had to write a persuasive letter convincing their chairs to come back to them. The children worked hard writing their letters and I can say that the chairs were thoroughly convinced to let the children use them again.
