During WW2 children were issued gas masks. To make them less scary these gas masks were designed to look a bit like Mickey Mouse. So P.4 Mc Ilroy made their own MickeyMouse gas Masks using red, white and blue paper. The only problem was that when we put the gas masks on Mrs Mc Ilroy couldn’t tell us apart.
