Our teacher gathered the rushes from her home in south Derry and brought them to us to make St Brigid’s crosses. It took focus, good listening and a lot of manipulating with the rushes to complete. We had super help in the class from our peers who helped us follow the steps. We are really proud of them. We look forward to bringing them to our homes and telling our families the story of St Brigid.
