During Laudato Si (Saturday 24 May to Saturday 31 May) , Year 5 Young continued the annual tradition of pupils from St. Bride’s PS sharing their poetry with St Brigid’s Parish Community Association.
The pupils shared their own poems, written in groups, on the themes of faith and environment.
This year marks the tenth anniversary of Laudato Si’ and the messages contained within the encyclical regarding ‘care of our common home’ are more urgent and pressing than ever.
The pupils enjoyed the experience immensely as did the parishioners.
We would like to thank the group for the invitation , their warm welcome and the for the refreshments. We look forward to continuing the tradition.
