We have had a busy but fun December in P5. In World Around Us, we learned about Electricity, building circuits and testing conductors and insulators. We were lucky enough to get to see a 'Brassneck' production of Snow White which was great fun. We went to see Polar Express at the Ulster Museum to get us in the Christmas spirit. We decorated our class tree and had a xmas party. We made some wonderful pieces of Christmas art to bring home. The children were fantastic in the Carol Service and sang beautifully. We continued to work on our mental maths and played games and using practical equipment. In ICT we finished off our Ancient Egyptian pyramids where the children were wonderful when working together in their groups and ended the year with a huge Christmas quiz and party!
