P2 Cunningham Hide the Present
On Friday we had a lesson on positional language and giving directions. We decided to play a game.
First we watched a short video on the interactive whiteboard outlining the language we will need to play our game; for example: in front of, behind, forwards, backwards, left and right.
We practised showing our right and left hands. Michael taught us a trick to remember our left from our right hands.
We took turns to be the hiders and finders. The finders had to close their eyes and ears while the hider hid the present. We then had to direct the finder to the present by using directions such as 'Move 5 steps forward.' 'Go 2 steps to the left.'
Mr Snowflake was part of the fun too as we gave him directions to get himself out of the jar he was stuck in.
We had a lot of fun and are very good at giving directions!
Why don't you hide one of the presents from under your tree and see if your parents or siblings can find it? Remember to give them directions!
