P5 were lucky enough to have a visit from a real life author on World Book Day! Michael O’Neill has recently published a children’s picture book called ‘Fairies don’t exist’ , inspired by his daughter Kitty. We were treated to hearing the book read by Mr O’Neill and Kitty, and then Mr O’Neill answered some of our questions about writing and publishing books. We were all definitely inspired to keep writing and perhaps even publish books of our own one day.
