Happy St. Brigid's Day To All in Our School Community.

1st Feb 2019

Today we had a wonderful mass to celebrate the Feast of St. Brigid. Fr. O'Donnell thought that all the boys and girls were truly wonderful and how right he is. The singing was amazing and we sang a new song which Mr Fee composed himself. Fr. O'Donnell reminded us that we should follow Brigid's example and show kindness and charity to all. We promised to do so.

In school Mrs Mackle's class made crosses and in Mrs Kennedy's class the Year 7 pupils came down the stairs and helped the Year 5 children to make crosses too.

In Year 1 they painted the cutest pictures of St. Brigid and Year 4 Montague made a gorgeous display board. It is in the front foyer. Please call in a see it.

The Year 4 children also prepared a beautiful display board for the St Brigid's Miscellany which is on tonight in the Malone House. The school and the club work very closely together and one of our past pupils asked us to prepare art work for the evening. We hope Fearghal Leydon is pleased!

Please have a look at all our work which was inspired by St. Brigid.

St. Brigid watch over all in our parish and keep us safe.
