We, as a class, have been looking at length and measurement in our numeracy topic.
We are learning to convert centimetres to metres and kilometres.
Outside we estimated lengths and using our trundle wheels, we measured how accurate we were.
We took this further by working out the area of the playground.
When we came into the classroom, we measured our partner’s arm span and our height accurately.
It was wonderful to see the children working so well with their partners.
