For our Art lesson today we were exploring line. We began by drawing the outline of a fish and creating a design on the fish with a variety of lines e.g. zig zags / stripes / dots.
After that we added lines around our fish that reminded us of water e.g. swirls / waves / spirals.
We used our imagination and used lots of colour!
At the end we had a little ‘Art Gallery’ at the front of our classroom and 4 of us were called up to pick our favourite fish and using artistic language we had to say what we liked about it.
Then during ABL (Activity Based Learning) later in the week we are going to add a wash to our fish and see the finished product!
