This week we have been very busy during Numeracy task time. We are focusing on subtraction from 10. We made up a fun game to practise our subtracting. We have to call out the sum on the subtraction stick and place it in the numbered snowman cup. We have also been focusing on o clock and half past times by carrying out 'What's the time Mr Penguin. We have been using non standard units to measure the area of a mummy polar bear's pawprint and a cub's paw.A big part of our tasks this week have been using coins to pay for items in the ski shop, stock take items and give appropriate change from 10p and 20p.
You could pay for simple items using real money when doing the shopping at home this weekend.
