In World Around Us we have been conducting a plant experiment to see what we think plants need to grow. We have planted 4 bulbs. We have given one bulb no light (it's in the paint cupboard), one bulb no water, one bulb with no soil and one bulb has it all (light, water and soil). We made predictions about what we think will happen to each bulb. Before we carried out our experiment we made sure we had all the things we needed. We then wrote a joint procedure on what we had to do using numbered steps. Mrs Merron then asked some people to help her plant the bulbs following the procedure.
We are now waiting patiently to see what will happen to our bulbs and to see if our predictions were correct!
