P1 Mrs McNamee Sequencing and Writing

30th Nov 2017

This week we were sequencing the ORT book “Six in a Bed”. We had to look carefully at the 4 pictures from the story and stick them in the right order across the top of our book starting at the left. Then we had to use a word grid to help us write our sentences about who we could see in the pictures

e.g. Mum and Dad and Kipper.

All of the children got the pictures in the perfect order but some of us found it tricky remembering to use the word “and” in our sentences. Take a look at the children in the Octopus group working very hard and trying their best! You can even see our colourful word grid in some of the photos that we were using to help us write.

At home you could use your Wordbook to help you write sentences about all the characters in your reading book! Remember to bring your sentences into class and you will get a stamp on the Star Chart!
