Today the annual prize giving ceremony for year 7 was held in Derryvolgie school hall. Medals for the swimming gala and Sports' Day were presented. Mr Cunningham's class won the Year 7 Sports' Day Trophy. They could be heard cheering in Armagh !
Mr Cunningham thanked the children for all their enthusiasm towards the various sporting activities through out the school year. He asked the children to continue their sporting ventures in their new schools and he encouraged them to avail of new sporting opportunities which the post primary schools offer.
We would like to thank our two P.E. Coordinators, Mrs Kennedy and Mr Cunningham, our swimming coaches, Michele and Craig and all the parents, past pupils and members of St. Brigid's GAC who have helped coach this year. All in St. Bride's School Community appreciate your support. The pupils have greatly benefited from your input. Thank you for giving up your free time to coach our wonderful pupils.
